Hi, I am Alyssa!

I'm a storyteller. I capture the stories of real people, being themselves and giving themselves to each other. It's about perspective, not perfection. Perspective comes from a candid, comfortable interaction with the narrative of your story, and with the intimacy of the little moments. I take that moment when people are not trying to be perfect, and accent the beauty of it with nature, soft/natural lighting, and a creamy depth of field.

I have had the honour of documenting families & love stories for almost 10 years, and have photographed over 150 weddings that have taken me all over Canada. You are so unique, your story is unlike anyone else, and being able to capture that uniqueness in a photograph is what drives me to do what I do.
